Joy Brasileira is a Brazilian/American non-profit organization which aims to educate, entertain, and spread the joy of Brazil throughout the tri-state area. The group’s performing ensemble features samba dancers and Brazilian singers who are committed to honoring the cultural roots of samba while bringing theatricality, professionalism, and excellence in dance that the public is sure to enjoy. The organization also offers an educational addition to events where they teach about the rich cultural history of samba and offer master classes in basic Brazilian dance steps.
